West Michigan Rideshare & COVID-19

Like you, we're closely watching what is happening with COVID-19 (coronavirus). Health and safety are of the utmost importance to us in our efforts to get you where you need to go. We understand there is much concern regarding the safety of public transit. This page will be updated as we have information to share.

We provide each vanpool with PPE kits and best practices for properly sanitizing high-touch areas. However, it's important to keep in mind that the surfaces where people touch – bars or doors –  should never be considered sanitized indefinitely. These surfaces are only clean until someone touches it or coughs/sneezes nearby. If we’re to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we need your help.

Information for our vanpools

Pledge to a safe commute option for your fellow riders.

Sanitize and disinfect the following high-touch areas daily:

Key fob
Center console and cup holders
Seat surfaces and pockets
Dashboard
Radio Panel and heat/A/C dials
Steering wheel & column
Door handles (interior and exterior)
Rearview mirror
Seatbelt latches
Accessory panel (mirror adjustors, door locks, etc.)
